The Process
Simple. That's the way it should always be.
Here's the basic steps that I take to guide you through a full website design and build.
Plan
It's never wise to jump in at the deep end. First we need to discuss what you want to accomplish, what you want your website to show your visitors, what features it needs to have, any specific branding or requirements needed. To do this we can sit down face to face, an extended phone call or a chain of emails - whatever is most comfortable for you and fits your schedule. This will give us a good grounding for the next steps.
Design
Now that we have the raw foundations I can get to work on sketching out some blueprints and turning them into a working design for your site. We want to make sure that your content is going to be arranged so that visitors can find want they are looking for with minimal effort. Once I've got a finished idea or two we can discuss which bits you like best and refine until we have a system that you would be proud to call your own.
Build
Sit back for a minute, you can take a rest here while I build the website using our blueprints and design from the previous steps. This is where I "plumb" everything together for you, for example link up your contact forms to your email address, fill the site with your content and images and things which make your website really shine.
Manage
Now that your site is online and working for you it doesn't mean you're left with without the ability to maintain it. In the Build stage I can add a content management system so that you can edit the content of your site with ease. Your site has solid foundations and is ready to expand and change, easily add modifications and features to your site. Monitor your traffic, increase your search rankings, I can provide help with it all.
